Surrey and Hampshire Animal Health Innovation Network awarded HPO

Animal Health Innovation Network (AHIN) was founded by the University of Surrey, The Pirbright Institute, Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA), Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD), and Sparsholt College, together with an ecosystem of academic stakeholders and businesses including Zoetis, the leading global animal health company.

In July 2020, the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3 LEP), supported by the University of Surrey, led a successful bid for AHIN to be recognised by the Government’s High Potential Opportunities (HPO) programme. The HPO marketing campaign is coordinated by the Department for International Trade (DIT) and will be used to generate national and foreign interest and stimulate inward investment.
